Countries and Nationalities
My name is Angelica and I´m from Cameroon. So, I am Cameroonian. My country has a beautiful flag with three amazing colors. The red color, as well as the centered yellow star, symbolizes unity. In addition, the green color represents hope while the yellow one represents prosperity. Cameroon is a country that has beautiful animals such as giraffes, elephants, parrots, sparrows, golden orioles and so on. In Cameroon we also have nice songs, and bikutsi is one of the most celebrated among them. However, the one I like the most is called makossa. Another thing that I like about my country is the weather. Although it rains most of the times, I still like it because there are some sunny days too. Since I am passionate about Cameroonian songs, it makes me a big fan of the musician Richard Bona. Even though my father is French and my mother is Turkish, they still like Cameroonian songs. My sister, however, believes that Italian songs are way better than ours. On the other hand, I have my cousins from Holland who are big fans of Chilean songs. My grandfather who is from Wales likes Japanese songs. In reality, my family has different perceptions when it comes to music and some other cultural aspects. Even my youngest son used to tell me that he would like to be Peruvian so that he could appreciate Arabic Coffee Beans even more.
